It’s truly incredible how much offence Hutson generates. Not sure of the exact percentage but it seems like 90% of his assists are primary. Correct me if I’m wrong. I just love this player.

Too many teams that we're in the thick of the playoff hunt with are going head-to-head and playing 3-point OT games. It's not gonna be easy keeping our momentum and picking up ground on teams if that keeps up. But we can only control what we can control, and if we keep putting up the W's we're giving ourselves a chance.

I feel that Newhook had a good game, too...hit the goal post...very noticeable. Evans, as always, was masterful at shutting down the opposition. Gallagher was also a soldier, double shifting on that 4th line, as Pezzeta bit the pine...man, I'm really gonna miss seeing Emil out there over the coming weeks. I wonder if this might be the ideal time for someone like Roy to get a call up. Sucks that we never gained any ground. Those 3 games in hand on Boston are crucial, but if Tampa, Ottawa, Detroit & Columbus forget how to lose, then it's gonna be a dogfight, especially with this January schedule..it just feels like every game is 'must win'.

Hutson deserves the Calder he has the most points as a rookie and his play is contributing to the Habs over performing. They are a head of schedule on the rebuild and he’s playing a major part.
