You could always just buy a battery maintainer that comes with a quick connector. Would really add to the over all battery life as well.

I just leave the bolt out of the fairings to take out the seat... And the seat... And I only finger tighten the thing on top of the battery. Safe!

Cool idea,,hey I need a front fender fairing for my 09 ninga 250,I found one used for 30$ on line carbon fiber! But it's for a gxr it looks like it would fit do you think I could get it to work? Ty n godbless

Good idea if u don't want to spend money on battery tender junior. The 300 is a great bike. Not everyone needs a 600 to suit their riding style, insurance costs or cost of bike.
