azure kite is just a AI replacement system put in place to protect Aura and to protect the key of the twilight, the azure knights are just incomplete replacements of the original knights so thats why they look soo oof compared to kite and the gang

I think Kite never played The World R:2 (can you blame him? xD) and he went to college. As for Azure Kite (Balmung and Orca too) he is just data whose purpose is to fight and erradicate AIDA's in The World

Pablo M. I always hate that about a video game whenever a new game to a sequel goes up the past characters never pop up the help especially when when the world Goes to Hell or something occurs. Especially when is the something that they never finish. Because that would've been me in the second game and I heard someone that looks exactly like me going around putting people in comas I'm going to investigate it. The worst thing the character is azure kite I mean come on somebody investigate that.

Sakaki still had that messiah complex apparently so its the reason he gets infected with aida and starts the pk tourny. Tsukasa is defintely NOT male(i kept thinking for a guy, he was way to feminine during the cutscenes. After i found out about the actual story, i got that "aha!" moment xD) Also its not incompatible in Link as haseo does lose it much more often in here than he did in the original GU. Aida is not only there in the story but an important part of it fyi.

Because in this game Sakaki isn't evil. Nor was he ever, technically. Also Tsukasa is definitively male in this game, no room for argument. This game takes a lot of liberties with the plot. For instance, GU and GU Trilogy are completely incompatible plotlines, but both are represented in this game. There are in fact two Haseos. I can't be entirely certain, but I'm not sure AIDA existed at all in Link's plotline history. I love that Mimiru is your first party member.

Of course. Who else would it be? Someone unimportant to the games' plot? There isn't a single character in any of the GU scenes that isn't related to a game character. Aihara himself has a PC you can meet in the game in fact. Kazubolo. Sakaki's player is named Tooru Uike. He is pretty manipulative for a child though. About the sakaki thing. In the g.u timeline, its apparently haseo who infected moon tree with aida and not ovan(or perhaps ovan infected atoli and in effect infected moon tree) Either way sakaki never meets ovan during the timeline unless it was an off screen meeting. This means after sakaki fails at his plan in the pk tourny, ovan doesnt lure the azure knights to his location to pk him.

His messiah complex is the main problem. Even if hed never met ovan, aida would have found him eventually(the same way it does in link but im unsure if it was due to haseo or it just naturally found him after the stuff at moon tree) Course with my limited knowledge of japanese, im not sure if sakaki mentions getting aida from ovan during your meeting with him at the pk tourny.

It plays surprisingly easy. I had it imported. You don't have to know Japanese, it's pretty straight forward. However, the cutscenes can be rather long and, especially if you do not know Japanese, can be quite painful. You'll find yourself trying to button mash through them.

I finished the game already, now I'm trying to know what to do with this post-game play... The game is very easy to learn and get used to the menu and the battle-menu and artes are blend and sadly to say, there are only 2 artes, the Close-Combat Arte and the Long-Range Arte, they are awsome to see and they evolve through the game doh. In addition, almost everything is the same as the others .hack// games, trigger a cut-scene, go to dungeons, defeat a boss and befriend with everyone via battle and e-mails... there are some other things that is kinda complicated to say since I dunno Jap :, ( The only "problem" is to level and equip the AI characters since they're names are in kanji, but its easy to get used, for those who are curious to learn some, I learned a few as Dai, Ha, Mi, Li and so on...

I'm not sure any of that happened according to //Link's plotline. Like I said, Link takes a LOT of liberties with the plotlines of previous .hacks. Sort of like how GU Trilogy directly contradicts many points of GU. Also, [spoilers] Sakaki was a child manipulated by AIDA. He really wasn't evil, he was -insane- literally, if anything. But more likely he was a child who was given power, and nothing more. Children are mean without needing a reason or being inherently bad at the same time.
