thanks, my router got hacked 4 times in a row,he changes the wifi password and router id.though i already change the router pass to longer one, he still changes it. lucky that im connected through LAN. i knew he was hacking it through telnet now thanks to you he's gone. i changed the telnet pass

Hi nice tut, this is common problem for who use this type modem, sometimes if you don't even change default password which is admin admin, it will change automatically by system for security purposes. actually if you just want to get back your modem password whether you forget or it self changed by system, simply type this command after success login with root access like video above. grep -E 'Password|Username' /userconfig/cfg/db_user_cfg.xml then enter, so your current password will show up there. P.S. : sorry for my english. :) I'm indonesian
