Watching this in 2024, when sentient AI is a reality... Man, this hits different than i think it would've if i experienced it as a kid. She died from The World only to transcend into our world. I'm so glad my brain is melted enough that i actually comprehend this plot.

I never knew Aura died in IMOQ. I knew she dispersed and became Chim Chims in R2, but that's it.. So many more layered messages here. Even more when her VA is Ophanimon, another sentient AI trying to break system constraints..

@@Atmatan Aura didn't "die" so to say: she more or less ascended. After her physical form in The World was destroyed, she became one with the entire network: the entire internet. She didn't become the Chim Chims either: I think what you're thinking of is that AIDA emerged as a result of her entering a hibernation and retreating into the system of The World instead of staying with the entirety of the internet.
