This wicking system does work. I wet my strings before tying to the weight. Then push the other end under the dirt near the stem

It's working for my plants. But I need a big bucket for a longer time.

I used this method once, lasted almost 3 weeks in a 1 gallon bucket, plants were alive n well although a little small on return but soon recovered, using 2 pieces of string to each plant,5 plants total,u can even add a small amount of nutrients.worked fine.have the bucket higher than your pots and fill 80%.

It's a fake video by pouring the water manually. The dripping water never happens. It works only by seepage only through the connected and absorbing surface. You can't see the flowing and dripping water. Very slow process.

Each drop take 30sec to fal. Try it instead of saying is fake. 2litr of water last for more thn 10days.

I tested this technique last night, to work out how to keep 3 very large indoor plants watered during our summer break at work. I half filled a glass, sat it on an upturned mug, then dipped thick cotton cord into the water. I draped the cord over the glass, lying the other end in a piece of dry paper towel. This morning, the glass was neatly empty, and the paper towel was in a puddle of water. I'm more than happy with this system - I'll use a bucket of water sitting on a chair, with a couple of buckets for our collection of office plants - one is well over 2 metres high.
