A good sign of a solid strategy is when you can dial in lots of different SL/TP parameters, and it still makes money. This one seems very stable across all your backtesting. Thanks Jarrod.

thanks jarrod. The over-the-shoulder description of the strategy works really well.

Excellent video, Jarrod! I really appreciated you sharing your insights on the behavior of mean reverting vs trending markets and how to adapt your trading approach.

Thanks for the video! I have been experimenting with trend-following stop & reverse systems as well. I notice that GBP and NZD have worked the best for this type of strategy (especially AUDNZD). I always include a take profit target as it seems to improve the trades that would usually end in a break-even or small loss, and it does so without changing the primary nature of the system as the bail-out exit does by increasing the number of trades.

Hey there, I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

@Adam camp Allen You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much, does any come to mind?

@Adam camp Allen I think I have seen this name on a trading forum before, on discord one time, is she really that good ? And how may I contact her if that isn't too much to ask.

Hi Jarrod. Really enjoy your strategies. Have you created a PDF for this RSI 2 period strategy. I am taking your various strategies and coding them into mt5 robots to test them. I watched some Scott Welsh strategies those also very simple and effective it seems.

Interesting that it only works on GBPJPY (possibly EURJPY). It would be interesting to see whether using the traditional oversold/overbought method is profitable on the other pairs My go to RTM strategy is the Connors RSI but unfortunately in these choppy markets with little follow through it's tough going My favourite trailing profit stop is the Guppy CBL with a 2 bar count (defailt is 3). The reason I use 2 is that I believe the markets have become a lot more volatile so using 3 means you give up to much profit Thanks for all your good work Jarrod, much appreciated

indeed this strat works on this particular cross, however, it is an ABSOLUTE disaster on all the 40 crosses I tested from 2000 onwards with 5 bps comm. This is a dangerous strategy, utterly NON robust
