Here's what i think. The hacker probably wanted to save the rest of the primos for future characters thinking that that account will be his forever. Somehow Hoyo notified him about your brother trying to get his account back so he probably wanted to make the final effort of 'destroying' the account by enhancing trashy artifacts using the good ones as fodders and depleting all his primos by wishing them all on weapon banner. After all, thats the only valid and most vile way of 'deleting' all your bro's primos (by wishing for weapons and later deleting them). All in all, its good to see you back, and may alhaitham and hutao bless your bro.

For HowdyBii's bro, If you want extra primogems, do friendship teapot sets. Since the house is decorated might as well. Each friendship set has 2-5 characters, and each of the specific character u put in the set gives 20 primos. Hope this helps :D

I really hope most game companies will allow you to retrieve rare items back if you got hacked. Since they usually has your game history. Or apply something like in Honkai where the rarest items need to wait 24 hrs before you can completely confirm to unlock it. Hoyoverse you can do better you know.

I actually had an ar 57 genshin account with more than 15 5 stars that i grinded pulls for, i had spent two years grinding that account and had so many crowned characters but it all got hacked in the end. And mihoyo was unable to retrieve my account back... It's probably deleted by now. Thank God i hadnt spent any money on the game but the time I spent grinding can never come back.
