Some nice editing there my man, a piece of advice may help - try to move faster and have confidence when doing your lines, it will smooth it out a bit.

I really appreciate that. I wobbled a lot, and still learning. Thanks for the feedback!

Like my goal is to get some sweet clean lines, but I need to just get more comfortable.

@@codefiveart its all just practice and building confidence, remember keep your hand moving towards you then your hand is not blocking your view - you should be able to see exactly where you're wanting to paint - rinse and repeat

@@BornWriter dude thank you. Yeah, I need to put in the time. I also need to continue doing the sketches with the can. Get that can control down.

You must be pleased with this one! Great job and loved the edit..Im not a letter expert at all but just following on from Born's comment, best advice I was given was practice painting lines, over and over, karate kid style! Just have a few sessions doing that rather than an actual painting. What I really want to know tho is does it ever not snow where you are??
@codefiveart3 жыл бұрын
Haha. Yeah, the line confidence will come with practice. I have so little free time that you guys may have to deal with my wobbles with the paintings! But I know I need to focus on cleaner lines. I get more confident each painting. Also, dude, we’ve had a ton of spring snows. My videos are usually like 3-5 weeks behind the actual painting. The rest of the season should be good weather!

@@codefiveart Yeah man there's just not enough hours in the day! Big fan of snow over here but probably because I dont see that much of it, If I had to live with it all the time it might get a bit tiring haha. Keep on keeping on buddy!

I feel like this is the first time I’ve visited your channel, is that possible??? 😂. Well anyway this was a cool video!! I’m not sure how long you’ve been painting but this was definitely a cool theme 👍🏻. As far as your can control, it will come to you eventually with practice and repetition. You have to train your finger how much pressure to use for when your trying to get thin lines or thick ones, fills, outlines and flares. Its kinda like muscle memory, it can’t be forced, it will just come and get better and better with time (my opinion). I think you did great 👍🏻

Thanks dude! I haven’t done many wall pieces. Under 15 in the past year (when I started). Man, like are my lines that bad? You’re like the 4th or 5th person giving me advice on can control and it gives me the impression I’m doing really poorly. I mean all I can do is keep trying. I was actually pretty stoked on this one. Either way, I’m going to keep going!
