Zombies went downhill at the end of B03, specifically revelations, the remakes sort of saved it but the rep and trust in treyarch was lost after loads of promises never came to fruition with revelations. I replayed BO4 recently in fact and after just a few matches ended up uninstalling the game because not only does BO4 feel nothing like BO3 but it also just feels boring and unsatisfying. Cold War on the other hand genuinely feels like another attempt at BO4 that actually works. Because that's the big thing, BO4 feels like a rough alpha for what Cold War would eventually become.

Why all that hate for BO4 when zombies are supposed to be hard and have so many secrets to discover. That's what we got in the games before bo4, they just put out a new Perks system. You people didn’t even give yourselves a try to read about the New Story (Chaos). Cold war was so easy that most of the players beat all the maps solo without main characters in the story and you end up loving it because it’s so easy to play. Really!! Now we are getting a new "Cold War" zombies experience with Main characters, classic perks, and GobbleGums.

This comment is completely disingenuous to BO4's launch. People DID give the game a chance, and they could barely get any of the Easter eggs done before the game would crash. Also, people LOVED IX on release. It was considered the best map in the game at the time. The casual crowd left BO4 zombies early on due to all the bugs and crashes, leaving only the die-hard zombies fan base to keep things going. Like it or not, games need casuals to survive.

i still remember the weird bo1 kino glitch where you stab, spin, shoot corners, crouch, jump laydown, etc just a bunch of stuff to the mystery box and it would spawn the ray gun every single time. Lotta fond memories of me and my 4 friends all having 2 ray guns + someone with the thunder gun. 7rays+1thunder was crazy, but as most of you know the ray gun itself isnt actually "that" good compared to other weapons that had farmable ammo like the m16 so we would usually swap to other weapons as the match went on, but fun nonetheless to have guarnteed rayguns for the begining rounds. As time went on and we learn things im 99% sure its not a glitch but a debug code and thats likely how people found it out, cause there is no way people just tried random bullshit till they got something so perfectly that it ended up working. also makes sense on why you could do it infintely and also why to my memory it only works with the starting pistol, everything about it really screams game tester debug code looking at it today.

Tbf. Dishonored main focus was about stealth. There are many other games that do approach the same game category in a more "open" way of combat rather than just trying to sneak through corners. So I have to say that your video does not fully make sense if your target has not even to do what the game was intended for. I do get why you didn't feel like enjoying the game to it's fullest but in a perspective of someone who does respect and enjoy the stealth genre, this game is a must-have. Story 3: I think reward instead of punishment would have been the right way to go. If you can't teach the dichotomy of "You're not obligated to care about other people's feelings, but it's nice if you do," by punishing her lack of discretion aroun her sister, then the next best solutioun is to reward her for caring about her sister's feelings despite not being obligated to. Personally, I would've made some kind of monetary deal. Something along the lines of "I'll promise to help with a major upcoming expense (college, car, senior trip, etc.) if you promise to be more money-savvy and discrete with spending around your sister." Also, therapy for the sister. She sounds super bummed about not having a dad still despite her mom remarrying. Doesn't sound like she's acclimated to the family very well, poor thing.

Bo3 was the prefect zombies. Great gameplay for casuals and hardcore Easter egg players. The success that bo3 had made activision give treyarch a bunch more money for bo4 and Jason blundell I think went too far one direction towards the hardcore Easter egg players and neglected the casual players. Also the budget was slashed midway through the games life cycle so that’s why the aether story had cartoon cutscenes instead of rendered cutscenes. Bo4 was so sad to witness because it had so much potential

none of this has anything to do with making anything easier for testers. testers, in particular QA, have a different client with dev tool access, that allows them to just generate whatever they want to test. no stupid walking around the map along a specific path while holding specific keys. no that's literally just a "cheat code" some of the devs put in, likely without ever telling anyone about it either, for the players to discover.
