This music is the equivalent of trying to punch in your dreams. I'm grinding my teeth because of how annoying it is, and somehow that has more structure than these tracks. And I know that sounds mean to the creator, but if anything he should be proud of creating the audio equivalent of PT, as I dread having to listen to more of this. AMAZING hack though, I love the premise alone. He did a really good job

The soundtrack is oddly unique. I've recreated some of Super Metroid tracks, and It sounds like it's playing in reverse, and I don't mean played from end to start, but like every instrument is playing the notes in reverse or altered. Honestly, that's pretty clever!

Not sure what version you're playing or what cheats you have on, but at 53:44 it's impossible to run that fast and jump in between those zapping bulbs in the version I'm playing. Basically making the game unplayable. I can't get that gate open. The rest were no problem. There was another jump you did earlier on with those zappers, and I was watching where you started the jump and every time I started in the exact same place, I'd end up zapped back to the little return pad, (which I also noticed isn't in your version at 53:44...

(I'm only on Brinstar, no Shinespark yet), I can't get to the area that's NW on the Brinstar area where you grapple the Rippers. I keep trying to run as fast as I can to jump up there, but Samus isn't fast enough. Norfair and Maridia are nearly cleared, not counting the Shinespark areas... Any help would be most appreciated. As it stands now, I can't go any further.

I had fun playing this ROM with a friend through parsec. We took turns controlling Samus, it was really cool. My only grip with this mod is that the music is ass. Like it's trying to be "non-distinct meteoid music". Most of the time it was goofy, but it sometimes got outright bad. But ya, aside from the music, the rom is great!

I love how regular enemies are harder than vanilla. The bosses are harder too, in a good way (although Subversion does that better). The two new bosses are very interesting (the final boss puts up good fight). The new item (jetpack) is great, as it is useful even after you get Space Jump and such. I thought the lack of X-Ray is a pain, but it turned out that all hidden items have some kind of hints if you pay attention to the environment. This game was really well done. Downsides is that the first boss (Ridley) is just quite hard, not just because of the narrow room, but because you lack the resource (no E-tank, max 10 missiles). And unlike other bosses, you can't refill any of the life/missile, because Ridley doesn't use any attacks that you can destroy.

I actually thought Ridley was easier than normal. More tedious maybe as you only have a small window to shoot him.

@@trisk_7398 It's more than tedious -- you can't dodge most of its attacks very easily, because there is not much room to dodge. And like I said, inability to refill back health/missile is the biggest issue.

@@michaelsong5555 I ran out of missles, but had to use charge beam. Took a good while, but I beat him first time. I'm at GT and that fight is hard. I've made 5 attempts and no luck yet.

@@trisk_7398 And I have no problem with the bosses being hard, but this is the first boss -- it should be easy, to get the players to get into the game. In relative scale to powerups, the Ridley fight is the hardest in the game -- not just because of how hard it is, but because you can't power up anything (other 5 more missiles, for total of 10 missiles).
