the finale runs are always my favorite. the donation counter is counting up seemingly uncontrollably, racking up that last push to get over the 3 million mark, even surpassing last year to reach a new record amount, while the save/kill numbers continue to battle for victory, all while a superhuman runner plays a once-though impossible-to-beat game, couched by some of the most awesome people at the event, for a massive crowd, all of this to just have a good time and donate to charity to benefit the human race. i love this community.

If you are part of the organization(and its dirty,) you could donate your legit earnings for the year to it and pay yourself back through the organization or just keep it in the organization funds? Only a small % of people are in a position to do that, but the major concern is how much of the money a organization gets actually goes to a cause, the legal minimum is 10%. You never really know.

The way this romhack forces you to actually fight the bosses is awesome, and seeing you really struggle to complete it deathless is a rare sight. After the flash there is something leaving the explosion to the right side of the screen. If I understand correctly it happens only if you save the animals.

@@d-5037 This is accurate. There's a little comet/meteor that exits screen right from the planet, just barely below the equator.

@@PhyreI3ird yeah, that's what I thought it was as well. At the end of SM, it does kinda look like a comet flying away from the planet's remains. I honestly stopped playing the Metroid series after Super Metroid though. I didn't do the whole hand-held game system thing, and I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the way the 3D metroid games felt to me.

It is amazing how Metroid always keeps on giving. I Never get bored of it and you did an AMAZING RUN. Because i didn't know the run before i always get a heart attack when your life gets under 100 or when you put your hand away from the controller, how can you do that to my Heartrhythm. This run is intense and i love everything from it. Also, the commentary is pure love.

Honestly, Super Metroid is considered by many to be the best game ever created. I agree too. Waiting for a release on the switch.

I appreciate the fact that the Save/Kill was such a large gap most likely because Save made it much harder in this run for Oats compared to Kill.
