One thing I like about cell phone mi-fi is you can see your computer and any other computer connected immediately. This is something we don't look at on home or public wi-fi. One thing I have found out in years of infosec is much of what happens (in my view) is US being lazy and not confirming things. We've been living where we do updates, downloads, free open source code all with inherent trust of everything vs. checking it out first. Everything is compromise-able, Everything. We connected to the Internet, and, I feel, we kind of screwed ourselves especially with the convenience. However, think of what would happen if we took data OFF the network...the empty house theory...I may be missing something, but I think we need to go back in time.
