I think the Indian gentleman stuck in Canada said that he pled “no lo contestare ” or no contest to essential some type of assault and kidnapping charge. Technically a no lo is a judgement sounds kind he was made to engage in some sort of rehabilitative “STETT” program. if I were him, I would want to know what the exact judgement was and what’s on my background check. Hope we get an update.

I came to the US on an F-1 student visa and stayed illegally in the country for more than a year. Then I had a severe stroke and my sister came pick me up and took me back to my home country 9 months ago. My question is that is there a waiver that fits my situation? I want to move to the US.
