No I think you should have installed two closets rods on one side and all shelves on the other. However your idea was a great one. Your closet is actually very big and workable. You are a very sweet young lady. Advice from a very experienced mother and grandmother💕

Good organization 👍🏻 First time I'd see a vlogger with a smaller closet than mine .. But mine is not a walk-in closet (classic sliding wardrobe) so I'm stuck with fixed shelves and very small hanging space !!

You need to use wall anchors if you are not screwing into studs or eventually the shelves will rip out of the wall

You need 3 poles. 1 pole long and 1 short or 3 short poles. Long pole up a little higher and short pole below one side of long pole. So it hangs a few feet below but horizontal. Now you will have two pole for short things like shirts and next to that a space for all your long items.

I will give you a tip, for your shirts use wire hangers. It saves SO MUCH space. I have the exact same hangers you have and have a small closet as well. My boyfriend recommended i use wire hangers and OMG they saved so much space. I even have some of his clothes over at my place now!

I too am curious how this is fairing. If she didn't install the shelves directly into studs, I fear that maybe the weight will eventually bring down those shelves since I didn't see that she used anchors.

aww! you hurt your pretty hand! I know a electric driver is normally expensive, but you can find it for cheap at Target or Walmart. under $20 or something. I got mine for $19.99 with a coupon at my local small hardware store.

Those wood shelves are totally wrong for a closet. They have shelve in HD that are for closets with a smooth finish are easy to clean and would not leave wooden flakes all over the place.
