You can actually upgrade this build in two ways: 1- Choosing Zeus boon that concentrates 50 magic and spawns a thunder everytimw you hit something (it's like 15 damage per hit on a lv1 rare boon) -Upgrade Icarus Keepsake and choose it for the third biom, it will last 20 encounters and you can easily arrive to the end still with it. With a good RNG you can literally shread chronos

Using the "2 additional projectiles" hammer upgrade with your mentioned zeus boon is super bugged. The additional damage only ramps up to 100 and then there is no more chain lightning, it only refreshes after you dash which can't be intentional

If god keepsakes work like they did in Hades 1, then they only guarantee getting said god once, so you seeing more poseidon in the fields is propably just really good RNG

I think god pools exist in Hades 2 as well

The keepsakes actually don't work the same anymore, it's higher chance for the boon of that God in general, and you can make one common boon rare once.

@@BiggerSadMan Really? And that's been confirmed somehow or is it just your suspicion? I do things just like i did in Hades 1 so i never keep "expired" god keepsake on plus they say that their effect has expired. Hence i have no personal expirience with this in Hades 2.

6:26 If you dash into and past the curse it has to make a wider turn to start following you again making it easier to dash through it again. Or you can have your familiar tank it and it goes away.

Syrobe, a tip about that curse of turning into a sheep that Hecate casts. If you take the frog as a pet, you can stay behind it, then it defends the curse. This should help save some time on the run

You can also just sprint back and forth towards it for about 15 seconds as it takes time to turn around

You can also use the frog familiar to eat Hecates curse.

For that ball in the hecate fight, just dodge thru it 7 times back and forth and on the 7th dodge just run the way you dodged and it'll disappear soon after. That's probably the easiest way to dodge it.

Dashing back through the polymorph or leading it to an add in boss 1 is really good. Dashing back through it is a lot easier than going in a circle imo

I’m about done with hades 2 at this point, it’s just making me rage, not a massive roguelike gamer but Iv done 50 runs Iv had ridiculously good powerful boons and I still keep dying at the end. About to give up tbh

A good one I did was similar, but I had Hestia on the cast, poseidon on the special and their duo boon, cronos was humiliated lol

you get a total of 3 gods (unless you take more keepsakes) after you have 3, only those will show up

I was trying a similar build by myself but I went for Hestia special, bc I thought that the boon that converts your burn damage into a burst would be good... but it deals less damage than the burn itself so I ended up with the perfect build of Double Moonshot + Shimmering Moonshot but not as high of a potential. Later I got the Pheonix boon that makes you heal when not doing or taking damage. It was still good enough to get me to Cronos Phase 2 with barely 10 hours in. With no Aspect, not a lot of arcanas and didn't even have the Pitch Black Stone enabled.

I have to say this is good, but in my first chronos kill i think i had a crazier dmg output. It was cast based with the Apollo cast, the appolo zeus duo and demeter apollo duo. That shit slams like 4-5k dmg in like 3 seconds goes bonkers

Shouldnt you be running with vow of desperation timer? I believe that makes it so you cannot get pulled into asphodel by chronos, its just a theory i have but there is 0 downside to the vow

If you're attacking a lot, yes. The flat is more than the %. If you're charging, the % is more.

the staff special at max rank is 40 dmg per hit. Apollo would make it 80 dmg per hit Poseidon makes it 90 dmg per hit ontop of the slip effect which makes it deal bonus damage to the same targets

mostly because of slip effect due to % increase dmg taken. And as you can see he is fishing (heh) for that legendary which has a 1.5x dmg multiplier

Hades I damage calcs would make percent damage bonus boons additive with other effects. If the same is true with Hades 2, then Apollo is additive while Poseidon can be multiplied by those effects. Critically, that includes at least two Arcana cards (bonus damage to 2 curse targets and to targets in cast) as well as Poseidon's slip. These effects when upgraded can provide +80% damage or more to Wave Flourish's splashes.

Try spamming the special with Aphrodite flourish boon

Try moros aspect with aphro special and zeus attack and hunt for their duo,u wanna spam the omega specials then attack to creat the blast at melee range then dash to trigger the duo. Shit is insane lol
