We Muslims need to get our act together. How can we eat meat when we know in full knowledge that animals are being slaughtered one in front of each other? How can we assign blame to others about their injustices when we can't even meet a basic requirement when it comes to the lives of innocent animals in our care. Stop making excuses and take responsibility and start standing up for the rights of all living beings.

* There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.* (Sura An'aam 38) *Thou wouldst have deemed them Awake, whilst they were asleep, And We turned them On their right and on Their left sides : their dog Stretching forth his two fore-legs On the threshold : if thou Hadst come up on to them, Thou wouldst have certainly Turned back from them in flight, And wouldst certainly have been Filled with terror of them.* (Sura Kahf 18) *And in cattle (too) ye Have an instructive example : From within their bodies We produce (milk) for you To drink ; there are, in them, (Besides), numerous (other) Benefits for you ; And of their (meat) ye eat ;* (Sura Mou'minoun 21) *When the wild beasts Are herded together (In human habitations) ;* (Sura Takwir 5) Abdullah (ra) reported, *‘We were on a journey and we saw a red sparrow that had two chicks with her. We took her chicks, so the sparrow started to flap her wings. The Prophet (saw) came to us and he said, “Who has upset her by taking her children? Give her children back to her”’.* [Abu Dawud] *“Whoever is merciful even to a sparrow, Allah will be merciful to him on the Day of Judgment.”* *“‘Whoever kills a bird or anything else without its due right, God would ask him about it.’ It was said: ‘O Messenger of God! What is its due right?’ He said: ‘To kill it for food…and do not sever its head, and throw it!’”* So, men must be aware of the animals right to exist, peacefully. Hence, forests, rivers, ponds, and mountains which are the sanctuary of the animals must not be extinct but to be preserved; there must not be any cruelty to animals; their right to co-exist must be acknowledged. This is a true hadith, tells that torture is completely forbidden in Islam , even if it was an enemy , Prophet Muhammed (SAW) never tortured any single creature (even the ant, there are hadiths that command not to torture any animal and even the ant, and believe it or not, even the trees, Islam command us to be good to the trees and the ants). Animal cruelty and imprisonment are clearly prohibited in Islam! Let us look at what Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: A beautiful prostitute was granted Janna ul Firdaus for giving a poor dog water. Some woman entered the (Hell) Fire because of a cat which she had tied, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth. Additionally, while taking the life of an animal for food, Muslims are commanded to do so in a manner that causes the least amount of fright and suffering possible. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: *{When you slaughter an animal, do so in the best way. One should sharpen his knife to reduce the suffering of the animal.}* 10 Indeed Allah knows the best.

But stray cats growl and snarl even some kittens do that. It is easy to help a dog as they trust u easily and u can help them.

Cats that act like that may be scared or hesitant to trust people because they have had bad experiences. Not everyone is kind to animals, some are cruel. They don't know who to trust. Like with people, trust is earned not given.

@@khalidjama8108 I’m so glad to hear that and sorry if I sounded a bit harsh. I, myself have a kitten, who is very sensitive and affectionate, so it just made me very upset that a small, little kitten just like him was being abused. 😔
