I am 71 and I am ashamed to say that I initially supported abortion decades ago. When this was discussed in my day I believe most of us thought 1) this was a last resort for high school girls who "went behind the bleachers and got in "trouble"" as it was put in my day. Obviously these girls were in no position to take care of a child. Now it is essentially used as birth control for women who are too lazy or irresponsible to use birth control. There have been 65 million abortions since R v W. That is 5 times the population of PA. 2) It was considered "just a clump of cells". Medical science has proven this belief false. Let's see, homeless is rampant, drugs addiction and suicides is rampant among teens, prices are out of control, we are in two proxy wars, crime is out of control with people being shot while they are sitting in their own homes, immigration is out of control due to the current open border policy, immigrants are being housed in 5 start hotels while disabled vets and other American live on the streets, China is buying up farm land, a question of a cyber attack like the one that took out the airline industry in not a question of if but when, the national debt is astronomical . I could go on. Despite this there are really people that consider a women's right to abortion the primary issue? Shame on you.

He said Florida's ban on abortion after six weeks was too strict. He said his administration would be "great for women and their reproductive rights." Then later he said he would vote no on a referendum that would overturn the FLA law and protect abortion access. He has bragged about ending Roe v. Wade. There is no national ban in the oven. It is a state issue and no states neglect health and the rape exceptions.. No state outlaws health of the mother which includes 12 year olds. However, 9 states allow for abortion up to birth. If our country is based on killing our young then what is the point.
