This is just a small segment of what is a significant historical landmark in England's political, societal and geographical history - Especially significant given the origins and expansive evolution of the Roman Empire who's advanced technology of the day and who's governmental structures advanced the democratic, legal and governing principles that most nations in the civilized western world use today.

@2:13 with the tree. Isn't that one of the filming locations from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (1991)? So similar if not?

It is 100% "the tree!" I had to wait ages for that shot as there were regular visitors all over the spot!!

@dronescape99912 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Paul! It was a fantastic trip, late Spring '22 and not many other visitors. I recorded the music myself using virtual instruments played from a "midi" keyboard connected to my laptop. I make all the soundtracks to my drone videos! It's a labour of love!

What was the Chinese sounding music you used for this beautiful video ?
@dronescape9991 Жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, thanks for your feedback! I make the music for all my drone videos. I basically use a midi-music keyboard connected to a PC. I have software that has the sounds of sampled real instruments (like strings, drums, pianos etc). So the sounds are built up, layer by layer, and then mixed down to the final piece of music. 😀

Wow, wonderful. I really enjoyed the music and the beautiful photography. Keep up the great work.

Hi, I love your work - and I am especially captivated by your work on Hadrian’s Wall. May I ask something of you? My name is Lee, and I am the manager at a not for profit social enterprise on Hadrian’s Wall, hosting around 20,000 hikers and adventurers every year. We have a smart TV in our atrium. I’d like to use that TV to display some inspiring footage of the area - footage exactly like yours. Would you be happy for us to play your footage on the TV? As a charity I would be unable to offer much in the way of recompense for this but I would of course give all due credit. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Peter my drone video of Hadrian's Wall was shot mostly around Vindolanda Roman Fort, near a village called "Once Brewed" Northumberland, England. www.google.im/maps/place/Once+Brewed,+Hexham+NE47+7AW,+UK/@54.9971632,-2.3952358,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x487dbb33d68266e5:0x260fd1387a1541d2!8m2!3d54.997164!4d-2.386481?hl=en

Roman's were essentially as advanced as most of 1600s Europe when this was done. Those suckers even managed to discover a steam engine but never decided to use it for various reasons, if only. If only. We would be in a world nearly 1000 years ahead lf today. Imagine we would be immortal never getting sick, space travel easy. Visit Mars for holiday level shit. Damn man
