Thanks for the honesty, especially about how water is everywhere but not really great to drink due to industrial agriculture Being honest about the mistakes is the advice to everyone else which keeps them safe. This channel has to many bullshitters that say “I did this and it was perfect”;so people do the same and suffer for it. I did the Nijmegen 4 days / 200 km March. A few years ago, made loads of mistakes, and then changed my approach.

Firstly well done on an epic walk, just watched them in one go. Great de brief with some spot on tips, on a big walk i like to stop at the odd camp site just for the chance to have a shower and proper relax. I only carry a one man tent it's very light, and like you say you can get in and have that private time. The spiritual thing i can proper get, for me it's like a connection with nature and it takes a day or two on the move to get it. Cheers mate look forward to your next outing.

Hi Jim thanks for comments really appreciate coming from your self. As I mentioned way back at the start of my training (vid 'right lets do this, game on! think it was) you and a couple of others are the inspiration that sperned me on. Was a great time and shall be off again sooner rather than later, in fact may be going for a wider wander around Essex over the next week or two, will see. Anyways, thanks again Jim, ATB bro, love ya vids. Wacks

the sawyer filter is OK, but you do need something with a carbon filter for the heavy metals, think about getting some kind of solar charger for the phone, also what about one of the old style analogue phones, as a back up, they have better battery life, also they tend to be able to get a signal when a smart phone cannot, atb Barry

Would you consider putting your Hadrian's Wall videos into a separate playlist? I can't find all of them. I'm walking the path this summer and looking for as many vids as I can find. Thanks.
