Hadrien Feraud's bass solo transcription on what seems to be a jam in 2013. Couldn't find the song title anywhere so if you know please let me know.
I wrote the score at 172 bpm even though its actually half that, but it is a lot easier to read the notation in this way than reading all those 32nd notes :). Under the notation I wrote the tabs of how he plays it exactly (at least what I could tell from the video).

Can anyone explain what's going on technique wise at 0:52? I see the harmonics on G, F#, (and C# I think?), but don't know why he then jumps back to the nut for a second after hitting them. What is he doing there?

What he plays there is a harmonic on the 9th fret of D string (the sounding note is F#) and harmonic on 12th fret of G string (the sounding note is G). When he jumps with his hand down I think it only to bend the neck. This is actually a chord that Jaco used on Portrait of Tracy, he played harmonics on 9th fret of A and D string and 12th fret of G string while playing Eb on 11th fret of E string - the result is a Eb7 alt chord (1 7 3 b10). Hadrien often uses this chord but with A in the bass so you get an A7#11 sound

Great solo! Could it be that your transcription is off on the couple of places? This how I hear it: bar 24 all triplets and I think that the group in the second half of the bar 25 (F#, E, G#, B) is all triplets and starts on the 2nd triple of the 3rd measure. So the first note of the bar 26 (B) is actually the last note of the bar 25 and the bar 26 is all triplets again, no group of 7.

Yeah its possible, that part was tricky to figure out, I definately dont think he plays 7 tuplets but I heard all those notes so I just wrote it that way. Pretty sure there are all triplets but its hard to figure out since he often plays so laid back on the 16th notes and triplets and I did not want to spend so much more time that I already have just to figure out the difference of one or two notes haha
