So far .. what I have heard from this guy would have Jaco puking in his grave There is much more to playing music than just playing as fast as you can. The sound between the beat is totally missing. This is like listening to a robot listening to a metronome UGHHHHH

I wasn't sure what you were trying to say, but there's no question Hadrien is a technical champion compared to Jaco at this point. And there are many other bass players who best him too. In terms of playing "good" as with feeling and intent, I don't think you can really compare "playing slow" to "playing fast". They're just two different types of expression. Fast is more exciting; slow is more relaxing. There's nothing more to it than that. From the whole discography of Weather Report and everything I've heard from Jaco solo, I don't really see how he can be compared to most modern bass masters except in musicality. But even that's somewhat subjective anyway.
