did this need 50 episodes? probably not, but I loved it regardless lol

If you have a heart then the first 10 episodes will hurt you. You get to see that they loved each other very much. But because of the trauma of losing their child at the age of 5, they are in mourning. While he cries and tries to pick up at life again, she becomes cold and choose to endure her pain in silence. She doesnt cry or scream in heartbreak but just withdraw in her own world, she got depressed. In stead of standing by her, supporting her in her sorrow as a loving loyal soulmate would have done, he choose to relief his pain by looking for warmth elsewhere. He started an affair with his much younger assistant. He even divorced his wife for this mistress. The wife literally begged/stalked him not to leave her, even after knowing he betrayed her. Her pitifulness went even further and she tried to kill herself when she saw him and his mistress in bed. So, she was/is such a pitiful doormat, all the time acting as if she had strong personality. Up to here the cruel actions of a "loving" man in 10 episodes. The story continues when years later he saw his ex wife again and wanted her back. But she had lost her memories after a car crash.Till the end he tried to get her back in every way possible, this time hurting his girlfriend/mistress.This young girl always thought that she eventually would win his heart but it never happened in all these years. If he even can cheat on his wife whom he really loved very much, then she shouldnt be surprised that he really has zero consideration towards her feelings. She knew he was not a loyal person. Eventually the ex-wife remembered everything, the love they had but also his cheating and betraying her and his cruel way of dumping her. The many many episodes afterwards, she played hard to get. Bc peoples characters doesnt change much and her being a real doormat in heart and soul, she went back to him. Oh well, they deserve each other. Next hard times in their lives and he will again betray her for sure. Loyalty is not one of his virtues after all. I loved the story and the acting but I would have loved it more when she would have set the scores right and just like him, she too had a physical relationship with the nice guy, the second lead. All in all, a great drama to watch

U clearly didn’t watch the drama properly or understood nothing 😅😂 The ML is a chaebol he met and fell in love his wife during is 20´s. He loved his wife more than himself she was is life purpose his love for never decreased in years till their daughter passes away. She was totally indifferent, didn’t cry and acted as if their daughter never existed she was more focused on work than their baby girl (she wasn’t acting as depressed person but as uncaring person) she never even said « I love you » to her husband 🤡 so it’s only normal for him to feel like she never loved them. Then he started asking for a divorce that’s when she proposed having a 2nd baby but that’s not what he wanted. Then his junior from work that crazy B become so obsessed with him that she didn’t mind him being married she acted juste like him she loved him just like his younger self loved his wife and she acted just like his wife younger self. So in order to push his wife away he got with her. He didn’t cheat on his wife cause he needs to F a new person but cause he hated her more than anyone else her uncaring behavior kept reminding him of their daughter. That’s why he never agreed to marry his junior cause deep down he knew no one could ever replace her. When he met Haegang again he couldn’t believe his eyes she was just like her old self but even better she was living her life happily. He didn’t love her again cause she changed he actually never stopped loving her his hate for her was his love for her. No matter what he would have ended up looking for her again. Haegang knew about it she felt guilty cause he was right he loved her more than she loves him… she thought acting as if nothing happened would atleast save her husband as she already died that day but she actually made him go crazy. I hate cheaters but here their story is totally different.

@@minouminou2034 i watched this drama very carefully. She was a bit cold and he was the affectionate one. Mostly the guy is cold and woman is warm but in this drama it was the other way, which was very refreshing. But still, he loved her. After dead of daughter she became more cold and yes, very depressed bc she blamed herself. This feeling is waved in small details througout the drama. Another reason for her retracting herself was bc how his family mistreated her and he never stood by her side or warned his family about their behaviour towards her. She needed him to defend or even protect her, as for her , he was her soulmate. But he never did. He even got himself a young lover, fully supported by his family. You say he did love her and then you say he didnt love her. He loved her but not enough to defend her as she always defended him. He just got himself brainwashed by his family and also his midlifecrises hormones kicked in when he got attention from a much younger girl. So he betrayed her on many levels. She should have chosen the younger guy who really loved her just the way she was. Just bc he finally got his brain back and stood beside her, even took revenge for her from his cruel family,, she forgave him. Hopefully she never forgets that he isnt really a trustworthy man. Besides that unsatisfying ending, it was a great drama. Depressed people usually cover their true emotions, so she even fooled you. A great actrice she is.

I dont care what the circumstances were. Cheating is not the solution. Nothing can be the excuse of sleeping with other woman. I can't stand it in any circumstances.NEVER. If his wife was cold and unbothered did not he know before marrying her ? As being said that he loved her since 20s did not he know her personality ? sleeping with another woman is very easy you just need an excuse.

First I hated that cheater husband... then I laugh at him for being petty that his wife couldn't remember him, then I feel sad because he was genuinely trying to win his wife back and last I feel happy that he proved he loved his wife dearly. No one is perfect, neither the husband nor the wife. Both didn't communicate with each other properly that led to them separation but they loved each other too much to stay apart. so I am happy for them. Toxic but beautiful story :D

A complete drama. A must see piece. Why do I recommend this Kdrama? because it gives you hope that you may find love from those people that you have hurt in the past. Superb acting, beautiful faces, best casting, amazing screenplay, brilliant script and direction. There is not even a single scene which you need to edit. Kim Hyun Jo is a beautiful, elegant actress- a complete picture of a lady with passion and arrogance. She played her double role with ease and full understanding between the two characters. She carried the costumes, makeup and attire exceptionally well. Both Jo Jin Jo and Kim Hyun looked so beautiful with each other and their chemistry was undoubtedly amazing. Their love and hate relationship, the ups and downs of their lives, can easily be felt through their eyes. Both at the same time, can be mean to each other and can fight for each other's dignity too. The writer-director duo has made each & every character as a unique personality. This drama is a masterpiece and should be kept in library for coming generations to watch.

Esse dorama é maravilhoso. Tem 50 episódios, mesmo assim assisti 3 vezes ja. E todas as vezes sinto as mesmas emoções. So vc assistindo pra entender. Esse é oh dorama. I read comment and i see how ppl are so simple to judge. He love her even when he trow her, but pain of losing is child take them to hell. Unconsciously, he found i way to do something, in the glacier state he and his wife was, a hell, he find somebody with sad story to care about, he give his shirts and send money and books to children. He never betray his heart but pain to 2 of them was unbearable. After he scream and trow her he cried and trembled. The young women was despicable in every way, and not worth to speak about her. He never give his body or heart to anyone else. The joke his sister make is put there to understand were they are, and she told her brother he see her as his student. She never call him with his name just sunbae, a sign intimacy wasnt there. You cant sleep with a man and not say once his name. Also, the theme songs describe their love. Is much much deeper as a neighbour affair. So please not treat as a hormonal crisis or cheat. Is something more, is cruel sad but pure and sublim their story.

Não casou teve um caso. Os 4 anos que passou fora da a entender que estava cada um em um pais. Mas traiu. Ela devia tê-lo feito sofrer o dobro, mas carregava a culpa pela morte da filha e pelo passado de advogada "fora da lei". Mas eu gosto muito do drama!

I hated it how he was able to sleep with someone else claiming to still love her but she never slept with anyone else even with her memory loss and the thing that I'm confused how many times did he have sex with that girl while married to his wife was the cabinet the only time they actually had sex but they had made out other times but then she made a comment his mistress that when they lived in London or wherever they were living they were more like roommates that they had separate bedrooms and I'm not sure it's like okay so did they not sleep together after he got divorced which kind of makes it stupid because now you're divorced I'm kind of shocked this girl didn't try to get pregnant from him
