He is not sassy for "just because" It is his psychological method. Every 6 NCT dream members are introverts. He is that ONE AND only extrovert. If you introverts just don't talk. So he trying to pull up something from them Like being annoying or saying something stupid, funny. He is really serious person actually. But for his members he can do THAT. And he knows how works this industry. You want funny stuff- you will get funny stuff. Really smart guy.

Yeah, he plays into his Haechan stage persona for the camera. He has great variety skills and knows how to make good content for the fans. It's also why he has mentioned that sometimes, it's tiring to be Haechan

It’s really amusing to watch him completely tear people apart, like his snarkiness is so uncalled for and aggressive that you’d hate to be on the receiving end (poor Doyoung man 😔) but can’t help but enjoy watching! But Haechan is also one of NCT’s most loving and loved members and the source of joy in any room he walks into, so I guess he makes up for his sass too 😉 Canon 📷
