I always take Chaos' extra Defiance, not because i need it, but just because it is so rare.... Same as Poseidon's legendary: Big Catch.......

I think someone could make a whole other roguelike just on this concept: every buff comes with a debuff. You would have to modify your playstyle on the fly every single run, rather than the comfortable patterns you usual fall into in a game like Hades. Could be good

I've always had an idea where every boon comes with a Curse like Chaos' but maybe expanded and permanent for the run. It's a bigger project though.

Doing this with a cast build could get utterly nuts. What has higher potential for a crazy build though? Crush Shot on Hera or a Crystal Beam bonanza? Maybe a massive Scintillating Feast? Possibly a field of Hunting Blades?

A fun run I think. I think that experimenting to find the highest damage per Attack possible would be interesting with a concept like Chaos. Which would it end up be Arthur, Hestia or Rama? Not asking for a theoretical seeded perfect run, but more so a discussion around what seems like the most consistent and most effective to aim for if you want a good average clear rate and time.

i saw one twitch comment say to do hoarding slash, it would be crazy with the coin buffs from chaos and the attack buffs just make it better for the base damage if you decide to do just the hoarding slash damage with no attack boon

personally i'd go for the rarity at least 2 times cause it stacks and gets maxed out boons that are always purple

Honestly, now your aim should be how far can you push the game's engine. Like how many demeter casts can you have in a room at a time, or maybe try modding in all enemies that are supposed to spawn into the room to spawn in all at once, weapon randomizer (change the weapon every chamber), boon randomizer (change all the boons we have every chamber). Obviously I don't know if any of this is possible but it's just a tiny wishlist that I have. Keep up the amazing work as always

What about a mod that allows you to pick more than one boon from the gods when they offer them? I know it'd make it super easy, but you could do a semi high heat run with it.

Chaos room counts as a different room right? Does that mean the rooms are technically halved?

Chaos chambers count toward the overall chamber count which determines when each biome ends. So taking Chaos gates will reduce the number of enemy encounters you get.
