i'm so sad, nobody use the valkyrie like dev thought it ... you can hit up and down when you dash in the air ... and still 100% crit when you dash... you just have to dash above enemy, and hiting down while the dash, go back and forth, anytime you can. it's harder to master, but so usefull... even with some bosses.

I totally bounced off RL1. Tried RL2 on a whim, expecting to uninstall within minutes. It surprised me! There are vibes of Dead Cells and Hades, but has its own flavour. Suddenly it was a week later? Whaaaat? How am I still playing nothing but this? What's my favored class? Which spell works best with my class talent? How the heck am I gonna beat this boss? Feck. Suddenly did it? That was cool! New stuff appeared, what? Why is the dialogue better and funnier than I initially gave it credit for? Underrated diamond.

@@dukeofprunes9195 Dead Cells is a strong shout. The 2nd area in particular is HEAVILY inspired by Dead Cells, for sure. RL2 seems to have taken inspiration from a lot of games that came out since RL1, but still keeping its own identity. This is how you do "good plagarism". There's even whiffs of Celeste in there, not just in the platforming, but in the music...
