into the wise soul of the age we’ll cast
into the howling joy of youth
Bring me a cup of that ruby musk wine
That makes jealous roses burn.
I’m drunk and ruined - be kind to me
On this poor heart - cast a little mercy on me.
And when I’m done - and turned to dust - take my dust
and cast me - into a bottle of- your- wine.
Cast me into the river of wine
When my heart has left the whirling of this world behind.

when it gets to the edge of catastrophe

بیا و کَشتیِ ما در شَطِ شراب انداز
خروش و وِلوِله در جانِ شیخ و شاب انداز
مرا به کَشتیِ باده درافکن ای ساقی
که گفته‌اند نِکویی کن و در آب انداز
ز کویِ میکده برگشته‌ام ز راهِ خَطا
مرا دِگَر ز کَرَم با رَهِ صواب انداز
بیار زان مِی گلرنگِ مشک بو جامی
شرارِ رَشک و حسد در دلِ گلاب انداز
اگر چه مست و خرابم، تو نیز لطفی کن
نظر بر این دلِ سرگشتهٔ خراب انداز
