» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

Wait.. I'm not trying to create a war and not trying to compare artists, I know everyone have their own speciality.. but oof- I just wanna say Ernie Zakri come back real hard in this competition after her short break of after pregnancy. I mean to directly snatch the best female vocal in one of the prestigious competition in Malaysia from others, that's really amazing.. I'm smh puzzled if her pregnancy, instead taking tolls on her, it gave her a boost instead AHAHAHAHA this is smh gave me the feeling that Aina Abdul only won the previous AJL just bcuz there's no Ernie Zakri. OKAY BEFORE ANYONE BASHING ME, I'm sorry again, I'm not trying to create a war, sorry2 this is just a sudden feeling and I actually love to listen to both singers. Ernie won Best Vocal Perfomance in A Song (Female Category) At AIM 23 with her song "Sinar Mata Hati" She also won Best Pop Song with her husband Syamel with the"Goodbye Hello". And they also won Best Song of the year with "Gooodbye Hello". Eventhough that song doesnt even Qualify into Final AJL. But this is not new😆. Everyone says the song that wins AIM does not win in AJL. At its vice versa. For example, It happens to Shila Amzah. Her song "Patah Seribu" won Best Pop Song and Best Song of the year at AIM but does no win anything at AJL with that song. Ning Baizura's famous hit, Awan yang Terpilu does not win anything at AJL but won Best Song of the year at AIM. However, the competition for both awards are fierce, whoever won deserve it. Whether it be singer, lyricist and composer of the song.

some fellas from Indonesian keep asking why do I always sing Indonesian songs. Of course, first of all they do have good music quality, their songs are mostly superb but the real reason I always sing their songs is Malaysian songs are too difficult for me. It is always full belting with higher notes on and on and I cant keep with that, given that I am also an Alto so u know why. Singing easier songs would do for me as current Indonesian songs are full of dynamics so I dont have to belt all the way to the end of the song 😁All in all, Indonesian songs are more simple and easier for me unlike Malaysian songs, most of them are taking my breath away 😂
