I followed the same measurements except added 1 tbsp of baking powder for making the cake & it turned out to be hit. The texture is so good & the cake is so soft. I don't feel like stop eating it. After long time I found the perfect sponge cake which I was looking for. Thank you so much for making perfect cakes & sharing with us. I have become a big fan of your cakes. I made this and it turned out so good. In whipped cream, i added 3.5 tbps of icing sugar, 1 tbps of powdered milk, and a bit of vanilla essence. It came out just like the one from Kitchen Cuisine.

It was delicious I made it for my friend birthday it was perfect. I used 3 cups of whipping cream and able to used all I think one cup will not be enough and I had to double the syrup my syrup ran out in middle of layering

U don‘t need baking powder in this egg cake i was worried as well at first before baking it but after reading on internet i foubd out because you have beaten up eggs so much you don‘t need baking powder for that rising effect in cake
