First time listening to HAGANE and their amazing drummer Junna. I must say that the rest of the band also is incredibly solid and I'm looking forward to exploring more of this bands music. Where should I go next?

JUNNA は以前は「ガールズロックバンド革命」のメンバーだったので、動画をチェックしてみて下さい! TRiDENT の NAGISA も要チェックです。JUNNA was previously a member of "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" ( now TRiDENT ) , so please check out the video ! JUNNA's successor as drummer, NAGISA of TRiDENT, is also an excellent drummer.

I'll put them on my list. This is SO cool. I get bands on my list that I've never heard about before. I think I might have heard of TRIDENT, but not actively listened to them.

That awesome drummer is Junna, formerly of Girl's Rock Band Kakumei (now Trident). Her successor in that band, Nagisa, is also terrific.

Sakura and Junna are world class players
@FranksReactions5 ай бұрын
100%. I haven't watched Sakura all that much, if any, but I really like Junna's energy, that she always seems to have a blast behind the drums and is giving it her all.
@frankallen36343 ай бұрын
I love how junna gets the drums sounding loke like the strongest thing in music. Bandmaid is my fallback. Im 60 so i can't be searching all over. But Japanese heavy female rockers are wonderful.

I'm starting to learn that female Japanese heavy metal musicians are probably THE best musicians on the planet. At least they are WAY high up on any list.

HAGANE previous Drummer KANAKO is a excellent drummer too , she's a support drum only in concert for Young band PALENEØ. the ex second Guitarist Mayto and ex Vocalist Uyu created a new band MANADIAGRAM. Nagi the new Vocalist is newbe behind Mic. Junna drummer on this video is also Joker Drummer for FATE GEAR ( Steampunk Metal) for overseas tour.

HAGANE as you can see has been around a minute - with member changes - but this current lineup is fire. they could be major players if they stick together a while. hanabie and babymetal are the tip of the iceberg as far as japanese metal goes. the all female bands have been ruling the scene for a while now and you will see suggestions for LOVEBITES as one band you will not want to miss. every member is an all star player and 'set the world on fire ' live is a good place to start. kicking asses since 2017. here is a link to the song : kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2rdpHtsnqySbMU

I'll be sure to check out more Hagane and all of the groups that you guys recommend. I've now done a reaction to Set the World on Fire. I had some reservations, but I think I just didn't gel with that specific performance. I have more of LOVEBITES coming up, and I think you will like it.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGOXZnqEZrl_prc There is a component called “HABAKI” to prevent KATANA from falling out of the case (SAYA). HABAKI also has the effect of protecting the blade because an appropriate gap is maintained between the blade and the case.🤘
@FranksReactions3 ай бұрын
Thanks for the information and the link! Yeah, I did some research and found out about the habaki. But either way, I think I would try to make sure and always use the thumb to lock in the sword. Wouldn't want it to fall out by accident and then reach for it... And thanks for the interesting link. Love channels like that.
@andreyzuev58675 ай бұрын
The katana can be equipped with a special lock that prevents the sword from falling out of its sheath.
@FranksReactions5 ай бұрын
Yeah, I guess there is a solution for it. I watched Jesse Hu create a katana and he worked very hard on the bit of the katana under the guard, as the fit of that was very important for a secure fit.
@andreyzuev58675 ай бұрын
@@FranksReactions This is not an assumption, this is a fact. :-) Combat katanas were equipped with such locks. Not all of them. (English is not my native language, so I might have spelled it wrong.)
@FranksReactions5 ай бұрын
No, no. You are good, and I'm sorry if it came out as I doubted you. It would have been strange if there wasn't any locking system, causing warriors to maybe accidentally lose their katana. And same, English isn't my native language either. Anyway, thank you for watching my video and commenting on it. I really appreciate it.

Recommend LOVEBITES Hammer of Wrath live 2023 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnnViIWKZa-Yl8Usi=6wCBuxrKmbTpPkuH. Musicianship is exceptional, LIVE is unexplainable when you consider how technical / fast they're playing. They're a heavy metal band in a league of their own. They premiered 2 live videos this past week but I'd start with HoW as a primer. They don't have a single bad song and they sing in English. 🤘

This band has a lot of good stuff, this song is from the new line-up. They used to have two lead guitarists, the other one, Mayto along with the singer are now with a band called Mana Diagram, they play similar style music. I strongly recommend checking out LOVEBITES, my favorite band, they have over 50 songs and all of them are outstanding. Try the live performances of Set The World On Fire and Judgement Day as examples to start with, but really you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

@OhhGeeGee If you try Babymetal, watch Headbanger live at Legend 1997, BMC live at Budokan 2021 or Ijime Dame Zettai at Sonisphere 2014; live Babymetal is the best Babymetal 😎. Gimme Chocolate is their breakout hit, but it's 'love it or hate it', so I'd suggest the other tracks first. They have a very large selection of incredible songs, and their live performances are better than the studio tracks. They arguably blazed the trail for Japanese rock/metal to the rest of the world, and should be part of any channel looking at the fantastic richness of Japanese metal.
