Hi. Good explanation indeed! But, I try to aply to that to a gate valve and it does not work! I don't know why because I follow yours steps just by changing the valve in the spec editor and it all seems right until I open the solidworks and the valve with the WFL does not appear. Can you tell me why? Thanks

There really should be a way to update parts from catalog without deleting them and then adding them to the drawing..

the valve looks like lug type, not wafer.
