Great stuff! Up here "neeps" are what you folk down south call Swede- it's a Swedish turnip, also called rutabega abroad. And when you mix it with the mash it makes what we call "clapshot". I've not had that haggis before- it's normally made with lamb and Aldi are obviously keeping the costs down- but to be fair we had their haggis truffles last night and they were really nice. Your sauce looked great, glad you enjoyed it all!

Veg and sauce looked very good, but the deciding factor on that is the haggis, you need to get a decent quality haggis, a bad one isnt good to eat. Sadly ive only had a low quality one and wasnt impressed at all, i disliked the oats and the flavour was bland at best. Its hard to get good ones in england.
