Wonderful to see Alkan taught to an entire studio! So many different pieces are represented. And such fantastic performances from beginning to end! Congrats to everyone and thank you for sharing!

bravo for this wonderful idea. I also use quite some Alkan in my teaching. I think the first generation of Alkanians (Lewenthal and Smith) have put so much emphasis on the extraordinary technical difficulties that many pianists are discouraged to explore the beautiful short pieces. This is a pity. Alkan was much more than a piano freak...
