Hello Beautiful People,
So I picked up the new Coils Twisting Butter by Texture ID to give it a try. I also realized that I had yet to try out the Baomint Curl Defining Cream by Adwoa Beauty.

Excellent review. Appreciate the end of the week update. Both sides do look *really* nice, shine & definition. But the Adwoa side looks especially nice! It does look a little more moisturized. The rich color intensity you've been having is amazing. This is why I'm strictly a butter cream user-moisture, shine, definition & *lasting* hold. And I'm really liking the off center part on you. Pretty hair, great results.💖

Taradise thanks love 💕. I’m glad that you enjoyed the review. And yes adwoa was more moisturizing. And I don’t know what’s been happening but since my trim, my hair has been super shiny and darker lol.

I'm using the coils collection today for my wash day. I wonder how it will turn out since the glycerin is kinda high on the list, I was thinking of using a lil pomade to hopefully trap in moisture even tho it has all those butters in it. I'm just prone to frizz, but the least amount is always better. I wonder how those would compare to the new miche curl bounce cream? I did finger could with that and my hair was amazing, moisturizing, and shiny considering I didn't add any oil...
@NJEberhart
@NJEberhart 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Sophia! That's a smart idea to add a pomade to reduce frizz! I have not gotten my hands on the miche curl bounce cream yet. I also have not tried finger coils. I am scared of the amount of time it will take me lol. Thanks for watching!

The texture ID was too heavy with all those butters-and it didn’t moisturize at all. It was good for twists that you down plan to unravel. I found that once I unraveled my hair it was frizzy in minutes.

The coils twist butter has silicone in it so it gives a moisturized feel compared to adwoa’s moisture explosion. The adwoa side looks more hydrated and shiny compared to the slightly frizzy haze. So Shea butter and aloe aren’t “clean?”
@fg1434
@fg1434 4 жыл бұрын
They are clean, but texture ID products have other synthetic ingredients hence why they are a bit cheaper. But she was listing the good ingredients in the products. Some people’s hair react to Shea butter and aloe Vera. I know my hair stiffen up with when aloe Vera based products on my hair.

'Clean' is the marketing gimmick used by companies to collect more money from you and me. All the ingredients they use have to go through a chemical process to become the main product sold. But since they know that people are ignorant and love to be fooled, they capitalise on it. So, don't be fooled however, if you are not convinced, you can do further research on Chemist Corner and the beauty brain.💖

Un unh. What do you mean the texture ID coils butter gel is not drying? It is the most dry product that I have ever used in my life. Wow, really? I used the butter/gel product only on my hair. By the time my hair dried I knew that I had to get that gel out. It was the most drying product that I have ever used on my hair. I thought it was going to damage my hair because it was so drying; I have never felt my hair that dry before and on wash day to boot. I was so disappointed, because it said that it was a butter. There is no moisture in that product whatsoever. I was tricked. I would’ve never put a gel on my hair without something to protect my hair. How deceiving to say that it’s a butter. That was the worst product I’ve ever tried in my hair In my life. I have never returned anything quicker than that product.
