I've been using this line for some months now and I love it. I have type 4 hair as well and my hair loves Texture ID. Just some tips: 1. The self heating mask does kinda warm up on its own if you use a plastic cap. I usually use a plastic cap AND my bonnet to trap some heat in for about an hour before I rinse it out. When I do this, it leaves my hair super moisturized and my coils defined and springy. 2. Mix the daily moisturizing cream with the twist butter. When I do that, I notice that even after a week of wearing a twist out, my hair still feels moisturized and I don't have to "refresh" or add anymore moisture to my hair between wash days. 3. Dry/wrap your hair with a t-shirt instead of a towel. The t-shirt catches the excess drip, but doesn't overly dry your hair. Hope this helps someone. 💖

I'm going to try it. I live in a small town in New Mexico so it's very very dry here. I struggle with keeping my 4c hair moisturized and it takes FOREVER to grow😔. Thank you for sharing. ❤

I bought the whole line and fell in love with it. I have never bought a whole line before. the price was definately reasonable. I paired the coils line with the curl line and the definition was amazing! My 4c actually clumped together! the detaingling brush that I bought truly helped me spread the product and smooth my strands. I am going to do the maximum hydration method and see with that and this product line what will my curls look like.

I didn't even know they had these out now! I used the first texture Id that came out. Not sure what exactly the line was but I know it had coconut and aloe. It was ok but my hair seemed to get dry quick. I will definitely look into this one. Thx! Bubs does it again!

Thanks for the review. I started using their products a year ago. I use the styling creme and it gives me a very nice wash n go. I have very dense hair too. At times I use it with gel but mainly the creme alone and NO oils. Hire is soft and coily everytime

Hi your hair is beautiful. I have been using this line for a couple of years . I mostly use the clariying shampoo and the 3x moisture cream conditioner that can be used as a leave in but I use it as a rinse out. I will try the twisting butter since fall is coming and I want to take a break from wash n goes. I love their products because it's great for 4s, moisturizes, I use on my gray hair because it has no color and it's not too expensive and does what those expensive products does too.

Umm nope lol. I have type 4 and tbh my hair was easier to manage when I first went natural 4 years ago and it was a lot was shorter. Now my hair is past my shoulders and wash day is like a JOB do you hear me?!😂 BUT since I’ve found the right products and established a routine it’s much easier to manage. Type 4 hair is magnificent and can do anything. Once I embraced my hair fully and let go of what we’ve been taught about our hair I’ve never felt more free and liberated. I’ll never go back to a relaxer.😉

I just recently purchased their deep treatment mask (it wasn't the self heating one) and the twisting butter. I did a twist out and though my hair was super defined I felt like it was dry. I think I will definitely use the butter for a wash n go and maybe next time do the LCO method when using the butter for a twist out. Love your braidout though! 😉

no i do not rebraid. I usually willl just put on a bonnet. but with this line after the 3rd day i did need to rebraid and remoisturize. but with my staple products my styles usually last a week without having to restyle. I would just pineapple my hair.

that is very hard to get around if you ask me, no matter what, if you scalp gets wet from sweat then frizz will come and you will loose definition. I would try to leave your hair up in a pineapple, and wait until your hair is completely dry before taking it down. then you can have some definition.

That butter/gel was the worst product I have ever tried in my life. It was so drying that I thought that it was going to damage my hair. My hair has never been that crunchy before. I would never recommend this product because I know that it will definitely break folks hair off because it is so drying. I used it alone and that was a mistake.
