Aigner was always a good brand. At one point I had over 500 'vintage' handbags, some going back to the 19 th century. I paid pennies for most of them and was going to do a book but life got in the way. I still have a hundred or so, some too beautiful to let go so they sit in boxes. One 'Kelly' lookalike in pinky beige lizard skin was given to me by a seller at a flea market because he said that no one would want such an old bag, this was before 'vintage' was a thing. It is a beautiful bag, probably made by someone like you, incredibly well made. Inside was the lady's visiting card, a wad of old money and a little book with all her bank acount numbers and telephone and house codes, too old to be of importance. One of my favorites is a large 50's hand done tapestry bag trimmed in kaki leather, big enough for lots of things. A question, is this your own voice in English, it does sound like you. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.

I’ve been enjoying your lovely channel for a while now, for the Q&A I’d be interested to know where you find your hardware and supplies, and why you might choose to stiffen a bag one way vs a different way in another project. Like in this one you used the metal piece under the handle but on past designs that have been similar you haven’t (or if you then it hasn’t been shown on screen before) could you kindly explain why you might choose one method over the other would be a huge help! I’ve recently gotten into making my own bags, making my own patterns is a challenge I am learning to master, any tips or tricks you use and advice for newbies would also be amazing to see in a Q &A. Can’t wait for the next video!
