I made 2 of the Kelly bag from Babylon Leather. I made a large purple for my daughter and the medium caramel for myself. They turned out wonderful. The leather is so soft. It wasn’t hard to do either. I just ordered 2 more kits for gifts to family. You did a great job. 🥰❤

@@howtomakeyourlifeeasier the leather is really nice. The waxed thread is sturdy - say hello to my blister 😂 The 2 bags I made turned out fantastic and are sturdy. I think they are even better quality than most of my Coach or Kate Spade bags I have. 🤷‍♀

I would recommend ‘lock tite’ on the screws when you screw the feet on, or a drop of e-6000 glue. You don’t want the feet to come off or unscrew so that will lock them in.

Thank you so much, my dear! It doesn't come with a lining, but I don't think it's necessary. The leather is finished on both sides, and the inside of the bag looks cute the way it is.

Your cockatiel is a cutie. We have 2 females. One is a cinnamon named Flo who is still half wild. The other is Pikachu. She's luteal with yellow coloring and large cheek patches. She's fully tamed but has fallen in love with my brother. She won't let me handle her. I made this bag but from Popsewing. It was my first. I bought another kit but haven't started it yet. My only complaint is the interior finish. I would like a pocket or a lining.

You mean the backpack? I used the Raspberry Rucksack pattern from Sarah Kirsten! It comes with written and illustrated instructions on how to sew the whole thing! Pretty good pattern, love the backpack.

If people would know how much they actually cost to make they would be shocked at how screwed they were for buying a name and not a product. Some of these bags cost a couple hundred dollars to make and they sell for thousands upon thousands. How stupid to spend money on that.
