Hahunga ceremony begins for blue whale bones washed ashore in Taranaki

The hahunga process has begun in Taranaki, as iwi members and the community gather for a dawn ceremony to prepare the bones of a Blue Whale that washed ashore on Opua Beach two years ago. Aroha Broughton-Pue attended the service to learn about the next steps for the bones.
