She made the right decision. She only went as far as the box to try to finish off the enemy. That was her plan all along and she wasn't planning on over-extending. The one she fleshed was already too far away and she was getting shot as she tried to finish him. With 200 hp, it's a safe decision to make.

@@cl_0ud470 prob is wraith’s phase takes time. And u never know who is gonna beam u at any time since the scrims are filled with godly players. Its better to play safe to avoid getting unnecessarily knocked. Plus a play like that would normally involve teammates such as a gibby dome on standby if things go wrong. Towa was both low and had no dome plus u can see the gunfire around her. Too risky. In the end thats how I analyze the situation.

Towa was making the right call. There are still 11 squads left on the 5th ring and they were getting low on health items and ammo. But Aqua is doing an amazing job at keeping pressure on the other teams. It's funny how tunnel visioned Aqua gets, but her aggressiveness and confidence is nothing to laugh at. It's interesting how polar this is from the shy timid Aqua when she's not playing games.

I would say overall if was just amazing teamwork overall. Here Aqua played really smart, and called it out before rushing in. LIke she says "I can push.....I'm gonna push." Then once Towa gave information about Suisei and Herself being low, she backed off and went back to her team. Like it might've been like 1 second between Aqua saying "I can push." And "Im pushing." But still took the time to think and call out her thought process, not just tunnel vision and went in with 0 communication. Once her team said "we can't follow," she backed off. Both Towa and Aqua made good calls, hitting a 99 with Peacekeeper and hearing a sheid break is the perfect time to push. Then Towa calling out that her n Suisei were low was a good call to cancel the push, and Aqua listening was great overall.

@@hanz108, while the attention she gets is really huge, it's a double-edged sword. So many people don't have manners and mentioned Aqua on other livers' live chat even though they don't bring it up. Introverted as she is, I think she feels guilty towards other livers because of that. it's true to both kaigainiki and JP sides, too. I remember when ShibuyaHal made a mistake on Towa's team landmark, the comment was flooded by people talking about that (some said, calm down, hal already said he will fix it soon (in JP)) 100% not Aqua's fault tho, it's just how it works in this world. Popularity has always been like that, sadly. I'm amazed that she got almost 90K concurrent viewers on that custom. Just imagine how many it will be when the tournament (scrims) begin

Aqua is the DPS of the team, Towa Keeps the team together/saves them from potential bad plays, Suisei redeploys when needed with the occasional poking. There's also many other things each of them does but those are the main things I saw them do during the stream. Their team synergy and communication (as in willing to abort your play to compensate with the team) is actually really good together.

Apex is heavily about teamwork. I lose nearly all my fights because of poor teamwork with randoms but when I have a great team, we can win most fights if not the whole match. Bloodlust from just one person while the other two need to heal and knowing the other team are still mostly full health or not even knowing all of their locations can cost a fight. You really need to know when to back off. Good thing Aqua controlled her aggression lol. I love how Towa and Suichan handled her here.

Aqua was brain ded rushing on enemies when her teammates aren't ready to fight lmao. I know her skills is basically predator lvl, but u gptta work as a team. U cam Towa's shield is down and she lost some HP, Suisei's shield isn't full either, to attack the enemy at that ring is dangerous especially with 11-13 squads STILL ALIVE!!! U can third partied if hard if Aqua didn't listen to Towa. Why? cuz as much as ur good at Apex holding a good position and working as a team is the best way to win. edit: I don't play Apex, but I play other FPS games like PUBG and Call of Duty. Even without detailed Apex knowledge, I can't still understand some logic of the game and what's the right move 😂

to be fair, i think towa put the dome a little too early. it was just a crypto and they have the door. she got hit a lot by the crypto (and got scared maybe) but aqua and suisei hasn't been hit. if she saved her dome, they could have port and/or dome to push :)

There's never enough time to strategize for a dome. When you need a dome, you use it right away. You can't really hesitate on it especially in higher level play where people who could laser you are not rare. She gets praised for her dome use that way by the pros. Actually, if she didn't use the dome there, Aqua would have crossed the fence by the door, which was momentarily blocked by the dome.

This is why Aqua would easily excel in Predator lobbies if she is playing with others on the same level as her while also having that relationship where she can easily talk and communicate with them. That is 100% a fight they should've took, other team's shields are cracked, if they finished them off they have that whole area to themselves. And to think that it's the same team that probably costed them the win, that's why they finished 5th here. I know this is just scrims but in the actual tournament, you take that. You don't back out off a winnable fight just because you're using a shield cell.

The only reason I trust Towa's judgement here is because she's played in many tournaments before. She's probably already aware of all that, but despite that, she chose to stay back. She had to have had some reason why she didn't completely push.

i think most of towa's competive experience and mindset was really raised in cr cup where she really wasn't that great compared to other teams, so she prefers playing really safe over going aggro (probably instilled into her by selly and other cr members). definitely think she should be more confident and hopefully gaining more experience would push her to be more aggro in future tourneys. but i still think she is really smart about the game, and since tourneys take points based on rankings and not just kills alone it doesn't hurt to play safe if they're in a good location that forces the enemy to push them to get in the circle rather than them having to take initiative.

I agree that they would have won that fight with Aqua already dealing massive damage to them. Maybe the portal shouldn't have been that far out. Maybe it should've just been around the stairs. That way they can still have the high ground and can duck back into behind those big doors. I don't think Towa made a necessary bad judgement. It's probably more of her to babysit Suichan during that moment than holding back Aqua for that call. If Aqua does go down there. They might not even have made 5th.

Aqua is really so impressive, with teammates of equal skill I could see her aggressive plays like this paying off massively. The danger is that mainly Suisei isn't able to safely follow up, often times she pushes out or tries to help, and ends up getting downed for it. It's cost them a lot of games in the scrims so far. If they can reach a good middle ground on that part (Suisei getting more situational awareness that comes with practice, and Aqua thinking more about how her pushes compromises her team sometimes) I think they will have a very impressive performance in the tournament! Not complaining about anything, just my personal analysis as a half bad Apex player, they're all incredibly impressive already but I can't help but think about how amazing they could be with just a little more fine tuning in teamwork!
