These are not the official scrims. Official scrims start on 10th April, but StartEnd will officially join on 11th April since Aqua and Suisei are still packed with schedules until 11th. 17th April is the official tournament. Edit: HAL tweeted. The official practice scrims are on 11th April again.

@@kanzaki2672 the official scrim (practice) Apex streams begins on April 10. StartEnd however will join on the second day which is april 11. All the Apex streams thats happened so far are custom "unofficial" scrims. The main tournament is on 17. HAI already commented above lol

They can do it if they wish to, Matsuri has the key to create Custom Match. But Hololive and Holostar alone will not fill enough slot and still need to invite outside Vtuber or Pro to join. And From latest data of Hal's V-Saikyou. It need around 3 million+ yen for a tournament if you didn't has promoter or sponsor at all.

As far as I'm aware of, you theoretically don't have to pay EA/Respawn anything to be given a custom key. You just have to have a well-planned reason when you email them. I wonder what's the 3 million yen for. I was thinking promotions, but to what extent is VSaikyo being promoted? Actual billboards in Japan, or posters plastered on to trains?
