This video was SO helpful! My husband just ordered the same washer and dryer for our apartment, and I'm glad to see how to use them, and that they seem to work well for the price (we paid just under $600 Canadian). Love that they're so quiet! I appreciate your honest review and comparison to other machines. Sorry about your car door, but I'm really glad you told that story, as we were going to try bringing them home by car as well. The extra cost for home delivery will be well worth it.

I have had it for over a year now and no issues yet, knock on wood... and I've used it a lot because its' so small, you have to do many loads! There are days where the washer and dryer both run all day without stopping! The only thing I've had to replace are the black filters that go behind the lint filter in the dryer... they wear out when you clean them many times, so I ordered 3 and they were cheap....

Just got both of mine today. I'm on my third wash load and they both work very well. The clothes come out very soft, not really tangled or wrinkled, and extremely clean. I didn't realize how dingy public washers are until I saw how clean my whites are after this wash! Extremely pleased. Can't say anything for durability yet, and my washer arrived really dinged but I think I'm just going to pull the dents out and keep going.

I'm still enjoying them both. They work very well. However, I do miss having a full sized as it takes lots of small loads to do one normal sized load of clothes. But for the space I had available at the time of purchase, they were perfect. Now I have full sized washroom, and they look like little babies in there. Lol I've had no problems with either of them and I used them very regularly washing heavy towels, jeans, sheets, etc...I've also found that not only does white vinegar cleans your whites better than bleach, it also keeps the washer really clean.

Faylina Meir Have you received your yet? How do you like them? I know they have to be a huuuuuge difference from washing by hand. Saves you lots of time I'm sure.

not good :( it's VERY loud during spin cycle and seems impossible to balance the load. I'm taking it back on tuesday. It seems the new batch of them this is a common problem. I'm thinking about buying the magic chef brand it's twice the size for the same price.

I have read many reviews that state that this spins so well that you don't need a spin dryer, but that the spin dryer helps... this is a non-issue for me since I bought the matching companion dryer, but it really does spin the clothes dry. Enjoy your machine, and remember do NOT overload it!

Thanks for Demonstrating yours. Sorry you are disappointed in your model. I have the Haier HLP23E 1.46-cu. ft. It has a Digital Display that tells how much time is left and a Letter Code that tells what Cycle it's on. I got mine last year in Aug 2012 and I love it. If you would like you can see more about it. On the Search Bar "Haier portable washer HLP23E Review Part 1 of 3". If you watch all 3 you can see that they have made some changes from the one you have. Hope this will help.

I recommend putting your fabric softener ball inside a mesh washing bag, it might help with the noise.

I haven't had any problems.... I just use a pantyhose over the exhaust tube to keep dust to a minimum and I vacuum it off when I do the filter... I bought 3 extra black filters so I can use them all and not have to clean so often, but it works just fine for me....

one video i heard it has its own spin setting thats what i want, so just in case i can dryer it more.. I have serious health problems and me trying to lug laundry was a JOKE! less then a month now... no way... ;) Thanks!

Is your dryer still working? Does the washer and dryer wear out your clothes with all that lint it pulls out?

Hi there, I need help with my Haier HLP21N washer machine. It was working fine until this time and now when I press on "power ON" button the lights are blinking all together and it just goes to the water lever lights and start to pip.. after 10 times piping the light are still blinking and I am not being able to start to machine. So, there is power coming in to the machine but what ever is wrong with it it is not being able to start like usual! PLEASE HELP! THANKS
