I'm happy you found me, thank you for your kind words! Before this song I looked at Rosenrot and Alter Mann. I still feel they fit my style even better, but unfortunately there was no way to make the Swedish work without destroying the beauty in what Till wrote. I sang a German cover of "Reise, Reise" as a teenager, I might look into translating it!

Thank you! I most likely will in the future. It's the translation that has to be right. I would've preferred to do Rosenrot or Alter Mann over Haifisch, truthfully. Sadly, the lyrics can't be translated correctly and elegantly.

​@@Doedssynd Yes, I understand the difficulties with the translation. But for me the hardest part of trying to do a cover is coming up with the synths (I don't own Omnisphere and have no idea how to use it anyway). And of course the mix, that is so hard for me. It sounds okay, but not good. I've been practising covers for years now, but I don't feel like releasing anything because it always sounds just ok. Soooo I have a lot of respect for the work you're doing!

@@smutje7775 Thank you very much! I use a range of different synths/samplers, mainly Logic's included ones and Samples From Mars. The sound's important to me too as I think the variety is one of electronic music's strengths. And when making covers, I want to at least match the original in how intricate it is. What kind of covers do you make?

@@Doedssynd Thats my take too, I want it to be at least as good as the original or close to it. I did an unreleased cover of On This Rock I Will Build My Church from Lord of the Lost. Multiple tries at different Rammstein and Lindemann songs like Was Ich Liebe and I started doing an orchestral Cover of The Hanging Tree, in which I wanted to incorperate a metal guitar at some point. My dream was and is to find some people and form a band, but to find reliable people with an interest in Symphonic Metal or Metalcore in the german countryside is a pain in the ass. I would love play at least in a Metal Band but that seems to be impossible here. And I can't sing, thats a problem if you got no singer. Sooo, thats what I am up to 😀

@@Doedssynd I wanted to add to my previous comment that I do instrumental Covers of course. And if you ever need someone with an 8 String guitar which is tuned down to a low D (the one a fullstep below the bass E), I am absolutley there for it.
