At 1973 it was known as the "Kinagawa Ranch" and renamed it to "Western Village" (??????) that became an official theme park at 1975, Park was closed in 2007, a relatively quite famous abandoned theme park in Japan
The place was extremely huge and divided into 2, the Western and the Mexican Side, they even have the replica of Mount Rushmore that built in 1995,but unfortunately the mexican side is almost gone because some part of the park was demolished little by little, thats why I'm lucky to see the good stuff.
It's like set of a movie. but because of the decaying woods and some of the skin of animatronix dolls are already peeled and destroyed, can't help but to feel that someone is staring at you. You can imagine hows it like when it was open, it's haunting, sad and beautiful all of the same time.
The local owner called Ominami-san said;
"the purpose in life is not to earn money but to make dreams come true"
and that is basically what he did.
