you can really tell how much more the Japanese are respectful of other peoples property. In America, that would have been trashed and vandalized.

This is how found footage horror movies start. No way would I stay there at night with those creepy ass animatronics. But this might be one of the most intact abandoned theme parks I've ever seen. It's stunning that so many props look untouched and that the arcade games are still there. I also would have stayed out of that Rushmore room. Looked like a lot of mold. Awesome video.

Abandoned places (and a lot of other stuff) just seems cooler in Japan than in other countries. Maybe it is because Japan is advanced but also such a different culture, that everything seems that bit more unique. This video is awesome and it is great that the levels of vandalism aren't too crazy.

The reason for all the teddy bears is because of Theodore Roosevelt aka Teddy Roosevelt. in 1902 president Roosevelt participated in a bear hunting trip in Mississippi. While hunting he declared the behavior of the other hunters "unsportsmanlike" after he refused to kill a bear they had captured. news spread and newspapers around the country featured political cartoons starring "teddy" and "the bear".Meanwhile, in Brooklyn, New York, a shop owner named Morris Michtom saw one of the cartoons and had an idea. Michtom and his wife created plush, stuffed bears and placed them in the front window of their shop. With permission from Roosevelt, Michtom named the bears “Teddy bears." They were an instant success. Ladies and children carried the bears with them in public. President Roosevelt even used the teddy bear as his mascot when he ran for re-election.

christine cantu Kids in Japan are more independant. Some cultures are different. Like in Ireland, we're alot more relaxed that America. As a kid my parents gave me the freedom to wander and explore. It's just what kids do. We lived in quite a rural area so I used to explore the fields, build huts in bushes, and explore a few abandoned places too just like these kids. They were fine as long as I told them were I was going and was back before it got dark. I think the freedom to explore shapes kids. But hey, all kids mature at different ages, and I suppose America is more dangerous so you have a reason to be protective of your kids ❤
@birdgirl1one8 жыл бұрын
yes honestly I wish my son could go out exploring like Christopher Robin in the 100 acrewoods but unfortunately it is horrible here in America for children. we are a military family and got stationed in Missouri that has a high level of human trafficking. I have to put those child leashes on my kids just to sit in the shopping cart while we walk around buying groceries. it's sad honestly. I wish we got stationed out of the country at times.
@robinisnotkawaii33418 жыл бұрын
christine cantu I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope America becomes safer so you don't have to live in fear. To be honest it's not perfect here either. I live in a nice area but in the city we have a lot of rioting. There aren't guns like during the troubles but they have more creative weapons. Stones, bricks, bottles, petrol bombs etc. etc. But it's a lot rarer now than it was. Anyway, I hope you and your family stay safe ❤

@Cherryberry18068 жыл бұрын
it's abandoned? so it's nobody's.... that's why I asked...
@faelycreative8 жыл бұрын
Normally it's kind of urban exploration code to leave things as you find them for other people to see, although obviously there are always people who will take advantage and steal. I know in the UK if you're caught trespassing it's a civil matter rather than a legal one, however if you're caught stealing or they think you might have intended to steal something you can be arrested. Hope that helps.

Hey Josh you should include some footage in your videos of theme parks like this when they were in full swing. i.e. use google search tools to specify a date range and see if there are any vids made of this theme park back in early 2000's. Would be so cool to see then and now footage kind of thing. Just an idea! Love your vids Josh. Wish I could do what you do but 4 kids later....haha.
