The parallels between Miya twins and Kageyama&Hinata are really great. Tsumu's "So?" line really shows how he had the luxury that Kageyama didn't in the early point of his career - not caring about what others thought of him, because Tsumu always had Samu to act as a "buffer" and to stick around no matter what.

I love the theme amongst some of the setters of having someone to knock them back to their senses and reinforcing that kageyama just found his later in life

Yup. Oikawa would have spiralled without Iwaizumi. I guess Coach Ukai was spot on, it's very tragic that Kageyama and Hinata found each other later on in life

I AM SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND REACTORS WHO ACTUALLY REALISED THE EMOTIONAL WEIGHT OF KINNOSHITA'S "MOMENT" Maybe it's because of the time and budget constraints of S4 anime, or because I like poring over the manga again and again, but I felt Kinnoshita's presence in the manga more. You could feel that he was being built up in the background, similar to Yamaguchi's arc. But unlike Yamguchi's, Kinnoshita's arc took on a different turn, and he didn't get to have his moment in the spotlight. Kinnoshita's moment was for all the benchwarmers. Karasuno wouldn't have reached this point in the tournament if the benchwarmers weren't there every day, practicing with the regulars. In Noya's time of crisis, it was a benchwarmer who saved him by practising jump floats with him every day. I cried reading this in the manga and watching it in the anime, because I have had moments where I felt like a side character in my own life. Kinnoshita's moment showed me that I'm a hero to the people that matters, even if the whole arena/world doesn't see it.

Given how hype the next couple of episodes are, this one is pretty underrated. It's honestly one of my favorites.

That set was so beautiful. Reminded me a bit of Oikawa's set from season 2. Its so inspiring watching these players who love something so much that they put everything they have into playing as well as they can.

"Unfortunately", injuries do not occur that often in volleyball. 😄

When I first saw the Inarizaki arc, I thought the twin thing was a total gimmick and I kind of rolled my eyes. Then upon further reflection I realized what Furudate was doing: he is subverting the ideas about natural born genetics from the Oikawa arc. Aran said OSAMU was the more talented twin, and yet Atsumu was the one who would get invited to the camp, and it is because the obsessive love of volleyball is what makes someone a genius/prodigy, not genetics.

Ye the main reason why injuries don't happen as often in Volleyball other than fingers is because there isn't a lot of physical contact with other players. Most injuries occur when contact is made with another person which is why it's so common in sports like football.

Someone twisting their ankle? I wonder where that might happen? The gift that keeps on giving.
