@@Themazing5555 yep basically. i think the reason why oikawa can't push his teammates further is because he doens't fully believe in hisself. ofc this can be inaccurate, but i strongly believe that believing your able to do something correlates with how well you perform. like how hinata and kageyama believe in themselves enough to push forward. ofc skill is necessary, and i truly believe oikawa has the skill (his fast set to iwaizumi in the final rally). but he needs to have the mentality. this is shown further in the manga through various players like bokuto, hence why i believe it. tl:dr kagayema stronk, and oikawa gotta believe in himself

全幅の信頼という名の脅迫にも似たセットをする天才影山。 でも、彼さえも追い詰める日向は、やはり超人だよね、改めて烏野変人コンビは強いよねって再認識させるお話。 　 その二人と初めて対戦し、唯一勝ったことがある及川さんが、影山の成長に触発されるシーンは個人的に本当に好き。 こうゆう登場人物の細かい描写がこの作品はたくさん散りばめられてて、ただの演出ではなくしっかり本編に繋がっていくのが凄くいい

Even when the other 3 disproves his opinions, he will just get louder as if that will make what he says true. To him, if Hinata made a mistake, he's a liability. If Kageyama made a mistake, he's just not in his top form. Even when Hinata had character development, he's still calling him a liability just like in this episode. He's on dead set wanting to portray Hinata as a liability.
