generally, none of haikyuu's players are bad, it's much better compared to other sport mangas that somewhat exaggerate the arrogance of other schools...in haikyuu, they tend to be more of a rival than an antagonist, so they hardly come across as bad.

This is the OVA. It's the matches before nationals for the Tokyo representative schools to be picked. It just shows how Itachiyama, Nekoma, and Fukurodani advanced to nationals.
