No One Gets Out Alive is undoubtedly one of Adam's best books - the pervading sense of dread and hopelessness was palpable throughout. I am sure there are many women who can relate to how the protagonist felt about being stuck and unable to leave such a dreadful situation. I've read most of his books a couple of times, but that one was so uncomfortable I am not sure I could read it again. Great interview!

Adam Nevill adheres to the indy author staple of "low discounts and no returns"? God, I loved hearing that. High discounts and accepting returns to try an appease bookstores in hopes of them stocking your book(s) is the bane of indy self publishing the last few years. Thank you, Adam. I really needed to hear that to spur me to get back to my indy author roots. I loved this interview. Thank you, HGH.

@@darrylhughes7797 I’m so impressed with how he’s built Ritual Ltd. It’s nothing but art, talent, and integrity, and as it turns out - that’s what people need!

I adore Adam's work and I loved this interview! I was so filled with dread that I had to stop listening to No One Gets Out Alive. I'll return to it eventually, but Adam captures my personal experience of female helplessness in the face of such malevolence so skillfully...I simply couldn't continue reading it. Also, Adam used the term Pagan Fiction, which is what attracted me to his work in the first place. Thank you for naming it!

Absolutely wonderful interview, with great question choices. Interestingly, the first time I heard about Adam's books was through Mers on Harpies and I actually found your channel through your Adam Nevill ranking video, because I'd read The Vessel and Apartment 16 and was trying to figure out my next read from his backlist. So I definitely agree that little community has formed around Adam's work!

Well that was a fantastic interview! I'm so glad I listened to all of your bleetings and picked up my first adam nevill book Last days. I think about it pretty much everytime I turn off the lights 😂 you know I've consumed a lot of horror content since we were kids and there hasn't been a book to ever scare me like that! Like you said in the interview, it's the way he describes things with all the senses, it makes you feel like you're really there. Thanks for giving me the safe go ahead with All the fiends of hell, very much enjoying it! I will be making my way through all off his books now 😁 I have to act tough when Connie's around but when I go to the loo in the middle of the night I flee back to my bedroom and slam the door shut and I can thank Adam for that 😂

Fantastic interview! This is the type of interview that I enjoy doing; someone who takes the question, and runs with it. (Less work on my part.) Very insighful look into writing and publishing. This is how my world works: When Adam got up, to get the poetry book, I immediately focused on what seems to be a stack of Marvel Omnibus collections of Aliens: The Original Years, on the shelf behind him. This video reminded me that I still needed to order All The Fiends Of Hell. It is now (Well, shortly. I mean, I JUST ordered it.) on it's way. Really great stuff. If I wasn't already a fan of Mr. Nevill's work, this would have made me a convert.
