Well, what can I say... that was a wild experiment! I had discovered your music and started diving into it a few day before you made that post and I am truely amazed. You made me believe the music, the videos, even the band members were real! I am just clapping my hands. You pulled that out beautifully! The choice of the genre: psychodelic occult rock of the 60s is also simply magnificient. You made it sound so raw and vintage to make it feel like actual recorded music. I am just in awe! You also did change my opinion on AI generated music. If people choose to use AI to express themselves it is their choice. All I am asking is to tell right away that it is AI not to confuse people and to give credit to the power of AI and the work its developers did put into it! As for Hail Darkness, if you keep up the same style and level of quality I will continue listening to you. I love this music too much to simply say, "Nah, it's all AI I can't enjoy that!" It will be a lie not only to you and to others but, first and foremost, to myself because I do enjoy the music! Thank you for performing this amazing experiment and challenging my views on art and music! I do sincerely hope you continue this project and give us more occult surreal experiences! Hail Satan and Hail Darkness!

Thanks so much for this reply. This is the first (and only) comment we've had regarding the statement. Regarding the point to tell right away, agreed, but it was (unfortunately) part of the experiment. Also, we chose to profile and create 'Occult' music for a reason. The message is/was occult (= hidden), in the open but only to be found by those who search for the truth. The plan is to release more music and in a few months shift to a new way of 'promoting' the project. We have also really come to love this band, how strange that may sound, and honestly we wish they really did exist... what an awesome trio that would be.... To see them live.... Anyway we will continue to 'curate' new songs with as much creative love humanly possible.

@@HailDarknessOfficial Heh, indeed a very clever move with the occult style! Well, this trio is certainly real in my mind! Good to hear you are planning to continue working. As for live shows... I know some folks used holograms of highly detailed 3D models and pre-recordered animations to create "live" performances of digital musicians. Not sure how much can be achieved with AI here but what a brave new world the technologies open up for us (and I say it in neither bad nor good tone, it is just the reality we have to accept)... My personal request also would be to publish the lyrics of all your songs. Though most of them are clear and distinguishable it is always good to have the written text (especially for me as a non native english speaker).

I've seen people getting really upset about this , but I rather like it. Don't blame AI for making good music .Blame the music industry for boosting talentless shite.

Really quite good. AI was a big part of the production, but I’m sure there are some human overdubs and effect elements. It’s a bit scary how authenticity nu-vintage early 70’s this sounds. The Coven debut LP from 1969 springs to mind immediately.

Not a liberty cap, sorry. Keep looking, the real magic is out there. The cap lacks a clear nipple and there are no visible striations near the cap margin. ...Oh wait, this is not r/mushroomid. Not a real band, sorry. Keep looking, actual good bands are out there.

Of course I prefer bands like Jex Thoth and Orchid, but this is an enjoyable experience.

this is great, interesting seeing you pull off a softer poppier song with lots of different instruments than you use in most of your other songs

How you know it's ai?

@@PATROKLOSSSS I'm coming from a video saying that this is an AI band. It sucks too that it is.
It’s pretty boring and stupid TBH, the fact that people are fooled by this just shows how low the bar is when it comes to music. Looking forward for AI music that doesn’t copy humans, that would be interesting

When it comes to Ai music, no matter how well it is executed, I have no positive feelings toward it. It is devoid of soul. It can do a great job of conning you but as soon as you realize what it is, it leaves a bad taste. I've got to call it what it is, lazy and talentless.
