When I was pregnant and found out my son was going to be born with a rare brain malformation I felt so lonely and sad. Doctors weren't saying much because until he was born it was going to be a waiting game on determine determing the severity of it. Well every time I entered a church and saw an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus I always felt a sense of peace and joy. It was as if she was telling me "it's going to be alright".

This is certainly the most beautiful rendition I’ve heard of this old hymn. I remember first hearing it in my early teens at a little church in a small town. I am writing this on December 8 - Feast of the Immaculate Conception - looking forward to Mass after work. Last January (2016) while participating in the March for Life in Washington, DC, a band from a Catholic college began playing. Thousands of marchers, who had braved the "blizzard of the century" to bear witness to the faith, began singing "Hail Holy Queen Enthroned Above" with the music. Even those who didn't know all the lyrics still joined in at "Triumph all ye seraphim." It was a beautifully moving moment! Thanks for posting.
